same ballast as the ddm kit, 100% exact made by epe, kits are in stock and shipping now. here's the kicker though, we will include genuine prolumen bulbs with these kits not the cheaper chinese replicas.

bukit includes:
2 slim line ballasts with inline igniters.
2 hid bulbs.
you can add a lifetime warranty for only $25.
add a set of GENUINE depo ellipsoids for only $150.
complete the package with a set of predator chromium for only $99 installed.

as an added bonus we will include genuine prolumen bulbs, these are real prolumen bulbs not the cheap chinese knock offs.:)

crazy question time.

say.... you've got a motorcycle, and you want your low beam to be 4300k H4 and your highbeam to be 3000k H4... or, godforbid, you did a conversion and it's actually a 9006 in there...

is it possible to get different bulbs and/or different color temps with this offer?

EDIT:

I said some stuff in my original post about this being an incredible deal, but you just raised it from 99 (which was WOW) to 149 (which is meh)

oh yeah, and you never answered my question.

now i am unbiased.

but i thought it was a bit weird too so i tried to make contact with habbie first. having worked with people that were retailers, i understand why he had to raise the price. basically competition + the manufacturer finding out about the low price is the reason.

habbie talked to me for literally an hour telling me the pros/cons of all the HID kits he sells.

anyways though great retailer. i hope you are around Bf.c for a while.

Color me unimpressed.

I call 'em as I see 'em. What happened is, you put up a price, we all wowed, and after our very happy and flattering posts, you raise the price. That's a fact.

Your motivation is indeed what I'm questioning here.

Were you really pressured by other vendors/manufacturers/distributors to raise the price? If so, you should say so up front, otherwise you become suspect.

This raises another issue - who has the right to pressure you to "be in line with other vendors"? Is there some kind of collusion here? A price-fixing scandal a-brewin'? The mere idea that there is some sort of cartel of HID vendors is both laughable and disturbing.

If you can source and sell HID kits for $99 and still scrape together a profit, well, god bless you. You'll undercut EVERYONE else, and guarantee your supremacy in the marketplace. That's capitalism.

Now, pray tell, where exactly should I do my research? Is there a book on "Habbie's Pricing Peculiarities" available at the reference desk of my local library? I hope so, because I'd like to be properly informed.

your "facts" are a bit off, if in fact you were "wowed" why didn't you buy on the spot?? i never represented it to be an everyday price or guaranteed it would last forever or even for a day, in fact all my group buys, ALL, clearly and plainly state that they are to be looked upon as a very short time/quantity type of special so to avoid "missing" on the deal and the ensueing type of discontent you express.

running specials for short periods of time is common place in our everyday life, super markets do it, weekly, gas stations do it almost daily, does that make them "suspect"? you're upset because you didn't get in on the price and that is understandable, digging for bones where there's none is not.
i posted my explanation, for all to see as and before the changes unfolded:
http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=802347
no one forced much of anything on me, i did it out of my free will.
research is not necessarily done in a library, it can be done elsewhere, read and research some of the things that went down the last 10 days or so for a better understanding of what really happened.

undercutting everybody is not necessary to achieve supremacy in the market place, i prefer to compete on service and quality of product rather then cutting everyone's throats, but when provoked....
undercutting for that very same supremacy is what led to recent events and what unfolded in the last couple of days.

price fixing scandal?? collusion?? i think you watch way too many movies.
sometimes, though you must react to undercutting to ensure and protect your spot in the market place.

thank you for the debate, if you care to carry on feel free to do it in private i'll be glad to answer any questions you may have otherwise its best we are allowed to go on about our ways.

Regarding price fixing and the laws associated with it, I didn't get any of that from a movie or from some conspiracy TV series. I got that from my bachelors of science degree in business administration. ;)

in case you missed it, the price is posted, clearly, has been all along, its not there for discussion purposes, if you feel the need to do so feel free to do it somewhere other then here.
since your intent is clearly not innocent and only meant to stir the pot without adding anything of substance or intelligence to this discussion except for far fetched fairy tails.
