Xenon lights, tinted windows and slightly lowered. I've had in my possession less than 4 hours and here I am.

I have a ton questions but I'll start with:

Do MN guys get together on a regular basis? I've got 3 kids so I don't get out too much but as it turns out, I've got all day Saturday (08/04). Anything going on?

Yeah, welcome to the boards. I too suggest checking out the E39 section to get answers for your questions. Since joining I've thanked God so many times because this board has answered so many questions of mine that I would be S.O.L. without them.

But as far as meets go, a few of us here go up to Maple Grove for a meet that is all makes and models (but is 80% Japanese makes :embarrasm). The people who go regularly are: Myself, Carbonized, Reedo, thenewBMWguy, Cranch, and Dinan S3. Although never all of us at the same time. The BMW's mostly hang out by ourelves and talk to eachother. We're cool like that! Check out the "Minnesota III" thread on (page 2 or 3 I think) for the address. It starts at 8pm and goes to about 10pm every Monday night. So hope to see you up there sometime.

And FYI there is also a few people who want to get photoshoot going sometime (date yet to be decided). So keep an eye out for that if your interested. Thats about all I can think of to orient you, at least the MN aspect of BMW owners on the forum. See you around hopefully.

BTW, I work at Motorwerks BMW so if you ever have any question about the dealership or anything let me know and I can probably help out.

Kmoney, I have a buddy who started at Motorwerks this summer. He is doing the basics right now ... oil changes and such. Also doing Pre-Delivery Inspections.

Oh, my bad, its later in the thread. The address is:

Basically, hop on 494 and get onto 94 and almost immediatley take the Weaver Lake Rd exit in Maple Grove. Take a right off the exit, go through the first stoplight, at the second light, take a right, and take any of the next 3 lefts to go into the mall parking lot. We gather in front of Gander Mountain and Bed Bath and Beyond. The BMW's park together seperatly from the rest usially.

But like Dinan S3 said, it has been getting really ricey lately. Which is really gay considering the group that organizes it is called "RiceKiller.com". Hope to see you there in the 540!
