Just bought a 328i coupe. Premium and Sport Pkg. Silver w/coral red. (love the coral red interior) Anyways........I really wish I would have bought the 335i though. How much of a beating do you think I would take if I traded in the 328 for the 335? My 328 only has 1300 miles. I know I should have given this more thought before pulling the trigger. My guess is I would get raped by the dealer if I tried to trade it back for the 335i. (please tell me I'm wrong)

I think you should sell that to someone on this form or on the e90 forum. It won't take you long at all to sell w/ only 1300 miles on it and you'll get a helluva lot more money than if you try to trade with the dealership.

Either way you'll lose lots of money. You'll practically end up paying the freight and PDI twice for a car you barely drove and will probably end up with a 2008 335 whose sticker price is going up and probably interest rates/MF if you plan to finance through BMS FS. I'd say you bought it, it's a very very nice car, be happy with it, and maybe 2 years down the road trade it for the new 335, I am sure by then they will update their e90.

You'll take too big a hit, I'd say have fun with the car you have, and maybe upgrade too a 335 down the road.

Another thing to consider: You just paid those fine folks at the California DMV tax and license on your 328i. Get a 335i, you're going to write them another check for tax and license. It's your money, but yikes......

Huge hit! If you jump, shy away from the 07 and order an 08.

Another idea is looked for a used 335i so you don't get killed by paying MSRP. Sell yours used. If you have a stick shift coupe, that would be a bit more rare, so someone looking for a stick that doesn't want to wait might take it from you.
