I'm trying to sell my g/f's car so the mechanic can't buy it because he's trying to make a profit out of it and has been ripping off her parents. He's offering $5000 for it but I think it's worth more.

Read the thread here http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?p=10191854#post10191854

It is a 1995 M3 5-speed in the rare Daytona Violet color. It's pretty basic for an M3. It does not run at the moment because the mechanic took the valve cover apart to find the problem. It needs new oil pump and probably a rebuilt head. Car ran excellent and pulled strong before the problem.

This car would make an excellent track car or project car.

- Clean title
- 180k miles
- Dove Grey interior, seats are vaders (manual adjustment)

If you know your BMW's then you know what it has. I can answer most questions since I usually take care of the car anyways.

Mods includes:
- Dinan chip
- AA exhaust
- UUC Shortshifter
- H&R coilvers
- LTW wheels
- tint

Bads:
- passenger door can't open from the outside
- few dings, paint chips and small dents (12 year old car!)
- cluster is dim (I think it is a common problem on these cars?)
- windshield has a crack(on the bottom so it does not obstruct view)
- side window trim is rusty

Currently the car is at the mechanics house so I can't take any pictures right now. All I have are 2 from like March of this year. The car still looks the same though. We can go there and take a look if you're interested.

If I wasn't still going to school and had a place of my own, I would buy it from her in a heartbeat.

Asking $6500/OBO. You are getting the WHOLE car. I rather sell it to a BMW enthusiast rather than the scammer mechanic. I don't care if you're intent is to fix it and sell it to make a profit. I just don't want to see it in the hands of the mechanic. Please let me know ASAP if you're interested in seeing the car in person. You will not be disappointed. I just hate the mechanic.

PS. The only things not included is the stereo system(will include the stock deck though) and the Hamann shift knob. Sorry.

no offense, but if it needs a rebuilt head... $5000 is probably a pretty good price for it.

The engine was rebuilt 30,000 miles ago, and now it needs an entire head??
