Looking forward to learning ALL about my new car (to me anyway) here on this great message board!

In a span of 22 hours I test drove a 2006 530i (cold/prem/auto/black) and took delivery.

I have had two previous 3 series and had strayed to the dark side for a 2 year (72k) lease of a 2006 A4 before coming back to the bimmer fold.

I love this car!

I will be peppering all of you with questions for a while. I hope you don't mind.

Before I start witht the I-drive questions...let me start with an easy one: Tell me there is an UN-SWITCHED power supply somewhere in the cabin!!! I am used to charging my treo overnight in the garage but when I got in this morning the phone was dead and the charger only worked while the car was running.
