Not recommended (at least not when there is a large group). If you've never been to Alameda, the police can be pretty strict... actually, let me rephrase, the residence of Alameda tend to call the police more when there are large groups of people doing things.

If you want to go off on your own, feel free. BTW... mythbusters does things in a closed secluded area, and have permits to do that sort of stuff.

OK guys, check back to the first post of this thread to see most of the information you guys need for getting to and from the meeting place if your in the south bay caravan, to the Alameda college group meet up, and then to the fuddruckers in the Bay Street mall.

i checked with the fuddruckers today about accomodating all of us for this weekend and was told there should be no problem, ill prolly call back tomorrow to set up a formal reservation if they let me.

as far as parking goes, i checked on that too. looks like there is going to be a parking garage that well have to go to and we were not garunteed that well all be able to park together. unfortunatly there is no validation in the mall parking, but there is validaiton at barns and noble. so we might wanna swing our group of 20+ people that way? input on this one guys.... what do you wanna do?

just make sure that you bring a few dollars to cover parking if we need to.

ill find out more as i get it, then post up to everyone here!

Actually they're V rated tires. There was relatively low traffic between Fremont and Milpitas... and that stretch of 880 is wonderfully smooth :D

Got home at 4 this morning. Set alarm at 730 to wash car. Alarm went off, subconsiously turned it off and went back to sleep. Woke up at 11 and said "oh fuk!" :eyecrazy Washed car and drove to Alameda made it there around 130 and everyone was gone :( Ended up doing my own shoot and filmed some videos of a bike doing some fast runs up and down the base. Had none of your guys #'s to meet up.

Really though, just stick a golf tee or screw in there, ZIP tie the vacuum line around the screw/golf tee... and if you're really paranoid, seal the end off with a little silicone sealant.
