hey guys i searched all over but couldnt find any info.

my sisster hit a pothole in her e60 causing the flat tire sensor to illuminate.
she started complaining about "rattling sounds from the rear"
(loose strut=tire thinks its a flat).

im guessing its the infamous rear shock mount clunking around.
does the e60 even have a rear shock mount? and is it the same as the e39?
i cant find e60 shock mounts anywhere.
need to order these before she hits another pot hole and cracks the tower mount!!!

I have same problem happen twice and like to know what you found out. Mine is '04/545i. Do you know anyway to turn off 'flat tire warning' light without sending back to dealer?

Maybe the "rattling noise" from the rear was a flat tire?

Did she tell you this on the phone while she was still driving after hitting the pothole? Or did somebody actually get out and look to see if a tire was flat?
