Looking to switch phones in Verizon. The list on the BMW site doesn't show compatability with Palm Treo and Verizon. Anyone having any experience with Palm Treo's? Let me know what models please. Thanks.

Anyone know how to make the contacts transfer in? I have read the book, and surfed the internet and cant figure it out, if it is even possible! The dealer swears it is but cant show me how.

I have a Verizon 700p and the bluetooth works with my 335i. :)

I don't believe you can get the contacts to transfer. If you use the speed dial buttons they will transfer.

Incoming calls doesn't show up properly with treo 700p. I've switched to BB 8830 and it is more compatible.

Treo 650 with AT&T works fine. Same issue as last poster. The bluetooth in palm devices has never been outstanding, but it works fine. My Blackberry 8800 works flawlessly though.

If you get it, make sure that you have upgraded the Treo with the most recent firmware, otherwise it may not work.

I know that the 700p on the sprint side has a new firmware that makes it compatible with bmw. Maybe verizon has it out already?

Hey Abizer, when you make a call using your blackberry , like if you were to dial your contacting using the blackberry (not through i-drive) does it display the name on the i-drive screen? My blackberry 8830 works except when i dial using the Blackberry it just shows ***** on my i-drive screen.

get a device that has Bluetooth 2.0; maybe a Blackberry? I have the Verizon Treo 650 and although it connects easily and works OK the Bluetooth 1.# is not that great for the call recipient. On your end call quality is fine.
