Well, after waiting for a couple of months I finally got my 07 328i Convertible. I was fortunate to swap my non-sport wheels for a fresh set that came off of a 335i convertible (thx to my dealer). So far I love the car and can't wait to drive it everyday. The only area that this car needs improvement is in the automatic transmission. Below are my notes.

- Transmission in D mode makes the car very lethargic and not what I expected in a BMW. My 2001 330ci in D mode was much more responsive. However in DS mode, the car takes on a completely different personality and feels great. I hope BMW comes out with some software changes that makes the car in D mode more responsive.
- Transmission in DS mode sometimes jerks very noticeably when shifting from 2nd to 1st.

Other than these two items I think BMW nailed it with the new convertible.

Congrats. So why not leave it in DS if you hate D mode! The s/w change would make D = DS anyway :stickoutt.

congrats!! For normal driving, I keep it in DS, and put it in D when the revs are too high climbing a steep hill, or high speed freeway cruising.

Well, after waiting for a couple of months I finally got my 07 328i Convertible.May I ask when you ordered your car? We ordered my wife's car in mid-May but it's supposedly just now being built. My wife has been very anxious and driving me nuts over the delay.
