Well guys I finally bit the bullet and got the car modded. Downunder we do not have quite as many options as the rest of the world, however this is what I went for:

Xede/Chip Torque System which is the Xede processor.
I have seen a lot of Dyno results around and I am not sure how many are real and under what conditions, so I have attached the Dyno sheet showing before (Red) and after (Blue). The figures are for my car, the figures seemed a little low to me for the stock measurement, however I have since found that this dyno reads about 10kw lower than most (No ideas why), I will leave that to those in the know.

The long and the short of it is:
Stock kW: 189kw
After mod: 223.7kw

Stock Torque: 320nm
After Mod: 413.1nm

I had the valet swicth fitted so I can switch it back to stock when it goes into BMW, however the difference on the road is nothing short of awesome.

From about 30km an hour in a straight line I bury the foot and it looses traction easily. The grunt is just beautiful and really hurls you back in your seat.:buttrock

I have been told that an exhaust should grab an extra 15 - 20kw from the system, however I do not want the car to be any louder.

So guys here is my results, I am going to post some 0 - 100km videos soon with the switch on and off so we can see the real world difference whilst driving.

Cheers,

Gibbo

Yeah that looks good Gibbo.

You need to ignore the other dyno figures around, and concentrate on what GAIN you got, not what the peak figures are.

All dyno's read differently, and the likes of dynojet are notorious for reading higher than most. It's also a joke that people try to estimate flywheel power on a chassis dyno. People are more concerned about others making a higher number than what gain they got, so to a degree dyno manafacturers cater for the markets understanding rather than try and educate the market, if that makes sense.

Dyno Dynamics 'shoot-out' package allows for repeatable and consistent results. You can be happy that you got a solid gain for your money.

Can you ask them for a graph showing boost pressure and also one showing afr. Even if you dont post them up, I'd love to see what changed.

PS: Yes, I own a dyno, and yes it is a Dyno Dynamics.

Congrats on the Xede mod. I will be doing the same in a few weeks time. FWIW, my car made exactly the same power as yours on my local dyno. It is a Dastek dyno though. Compared to other dynos it is about 20hp less. A friend of mine has also fitted the Xede chip, but he gained more. Went from 270hp to about 325hp atw. Will post my graphs after the mod.
