i know...when i saw that, my first thought was, "WTF?!? how the hell do i access the belt?!?" i guess it'll be a dealer job for that one...unless i buy a lift and a whole bunch of tools so i can drop the motor...of course, i'll need help too (hi CP-28), cause i wont be too sure of what i'll be doing...and i dont wanna pay cal to do it for me :stickoutt

You could fab a nice removable panel for that area and have it carpeted. Since it's behind the seat it wouldn't be too obvious unless you do a batch job.
You would think Porsche would have done that unless the engine is very easy to drop from a rack. Even then though it is still a lot of work just to get to the belts.
Well, we can do a DIY when you hit 10k miles.

pounce!!!

and after we do the DIY at your place, stacy will understand that *you* will need to do a test drive of it to make sure the belt is on tight...

i heard that you know the road to blowhole like the back of your hand...:D

sorry jeff, no gt1 pix :)

from what I understand the techs at the dealer drop the motor all the time with a hydraulic table. Having done it a few times on mine, I think the Cayman should be no problem for me & woody :lol

No no...:nono she will not understand and I'm not about to do the same mistake twice. As for the road that leads to the blow hole...everyone knows that one! It's the straight way fronting Sandy Beach. ;)
I will not even sit in your Cayman...the Z06 was bad enough!

Woody,

Since we have to be back in Waipio, why don't you just leave your car and drive or ride in the 645 you know you cannot resist the sound and power of a V8 motor and the sound :devillook You know you want toooooooooooo.

I know you have a family and you need a 4 door, I just so happen to know where an 04 545 in pristine condition is:eek:

Just listen to the roar of a V8, you know you need it. :D
