Well this weekend Me and some of my family took a trip to Nashville and have some formal dinners and stuff. My great aunt desided to drive us in her 2008 Navigator. I well have to say that it is one of the best riding and driving vechile and domestic car makers has made. It had everything order. There are steps that will fold down from the side to help you get in and out. She has 2 dvd players in there. Navigation. It is silver w/ Chrome. It was better then her 2006 Navigator. The ride was real smooth. I would say if yo had to get a Domestic SUV and wanted one that was comfortable then get a Navigator. It was better then the Escaldes that I have been in.

You dont even worry about the mpg. Yea it gets probly 14-16 on hwy. But who cares. She paid for it in full. So she isnt worried. She has a 55 T-bird, 64.5 Mustang, 06 Navigator, A newer model exploer, and some type of tour bus/rv thing also. I dont think she is really worried about the mpg. The only thing she worries about is the bird crap.

Personally, I liked the navigator w/ the waterfall grille - the one up until the '07 MY I think. I think the grille on the '08s are way too weird - like they were ripped off some '64 lincoln. I don't like SUVs in general, esp. full-sized SUVs, but I'd go with the Escalade IMO.

The Navigator has an independent rear suspension - which makes for a much nicer ride than in the Escalade. I have an ESV. I think the Navigator is a more luxurious SUV...
