This highly sought after bar is NLA from BMW NA, so the used market is your only option sadly for obtaining one of these. Unlike the cheap hinged bars that other manufactures sell, this design always provides a load on the chassis to reduce flex and keeps the car a bit more planted. The going rate is somewhere around $500+ when they pop up, mine is substantially cheaper...for a reason.
The bar was broken when the car was wrecked. For someone with access to a tig welder, it's a cheap and easy fix since the bar is just aluminum. It's not missing any chunks or parts...just a nice clean break that interlocks all the way around.
The only thing you'll need are the slightly larger strut hat threaded bolts which are still available from the dealer.
