DEFKON99 07-30-2007, 09:43 AM very nice car
Extrordinary car you have there, have you ever dynoed it? Not trying to pry but curious as to the reason for selling?
rmani 07-30-2007, 10:22 AM sweet deal considering all those mods.
Mitchy540 07-30-2007, 12:48 PM DEAR GOD that is an incredible car. GL with the sale. I own a E39 M5 and for those who have never driven one, it is nothing like anything you have experienced. One of the best cars on the planet, I shit you not. :cool
hayabusa4448 07-30-2007, 01:22 PM
Addedatmosphere 07-30-2007, 02:22 PM Dyno'd?
930chas 07-30-2007, 07:12 PM Previous owner said it dynoed at 481hp. Never saw proof of that, but having owned an S2 M5 also (470hp--stock cam), I would attest that the power between the two is very similar. The S2 M5 being more torquey down low, while the BHS M5 hits its range a little higher in the RPM band...essentially when the cam comes on.
Selling with the idea of purchasing a 993tt or 996tt.
Thanks for the compliments. It is truly a phenomenal machine.
mike87 07-30-2007, 07:57 PM not interested but that's a sick car man

Bid it up!! Thanks.
craesq1 08-09-2007, 04:56 PM Holy Moly - 2nd best M5 I've ever seen... did anyone see that white supercharged one on ebay a while back ... black and red leather interior and 602hp... wow!
pizdec 08-09-2007, 05:21 PM so you are ~90K into this car ..? Do you think buying a nice porsche for 70K +20K pocket change would be a better decision? Any regrets on your side after so much $$$ spent?
930chas 08-09-2007, 07:26 PM Actually, I didn't spend the money on the mods. I bought the car as it sits. I learned my lesson. My 930 had well over $60k in the motor, suspension, wheels, etc plus the cost of the car, and I sold it for $45k. So, basically I took a $50k hit. From then on, all my cars have been purchased already modded. It takes a lot longer to find the ones modded to my taste, but so far it has all worked out. No regrets, just time for something different. Thanks.
infamous 08-17-2007, 04:17 PM Do you have any videos of it. That thing must sound like a beast!
930chas 08-22-2007, 01:26 PM No video of it, but it is an absolute beast to drive and incredibly LOUD!! You definitely have to short shift around town or be subjected to the wrath of the local police department. lol!
