It has been very well maintained by an incredibly knowledgeable BMW mechanic. I'll be glad to provide his contact information to anyone seriouly considering the car. He can give you his honest take on the car. He's under it every 5k for oil and filter. We discuss preventive maintainence options each time. Preventive maintenence that has already been done includes replaced the water pump, replaced radiator, new tires at 72k (Butler Tire-High Speed Balance, front end aligned), new brakes at 73k, new hoses. Transmission serviced at 55k. Never had any problems. Again, all of the above was done on a preventive maint basis. Nothing has ever failed. Runs VERY well.

If my son were not 17 I'd pass it on to him. But this is too much car for him at this point in his life.
