View Full Version : WANTED: Black on Black M3/4 AUTO
richmondmike 07-29-2007, 10:45 PM I have a friend who is searching for a black on black sedan with, yes, automatic (I've tried to convince him otherwise). If anyone knows of one for sale even close to Richmond, VA, my friend would be happy to talk with you. He has one he's interested in up in DC with 56K on it, but the guy is asking a lot. Any leads would be great. Cheers, m
BCM M3 07-29-2007, 10:49 PM PM RiceUM3 here on the boards. He's got a nice one for sale. Lots of recent maintenance $$$ in the car, including a freshly rebuilt tranny. Located in TX, but I'm sure he'd work with you on shipping/delivery.
porschefan1013 07-29-2007, 11:44 PM I refuse to be an instrument in such a transaction, and you're not helping him either. Friends don't let friends drive automatic M3's. You should be praying that he never finds one and has to "settle" on a manual. :devillook

Spare me the theatrics!
Your half-witted attempt to sound witty by equating driving an Auto M3 to being drunk is mildly pitiful and instantly forgettable...seek psychological help immediately.
The guy has already stated that he has tried to talk his friend out of an Auto to no avail and yet you still deem it necessary to tell him that you won't help him out. How about helping him out by saying nothing at all? Yes you are entitled to your opinion, but your opinion has been duly noted in a myriad of forms....bring something else to the table please...I only need to be told once that George Washington is depicted on the One Dollar Bill. Pretty cool at first, but gets boring pretty fast.
As a proud member of the Auto-Erotics, I love the M3 in all forms. Here's one for you: "Please don't throw cigarette butts in our bowls, we don't pee in your ashtrays"; in other words, we Auto-Erotics don't pan your manuals so leave the Autos alone. We KNOW how you feel. Cheese Louise!
'Nuff said....great day to all! :D

Dude chill man, he was just joking. If you get so fired up over something as insignificant as a forum post, I can't even imagine how bad you would freak out over something really serious.

I was stating my case that the guy was looking for some help to find his friend a car, someone uses it as an excuse to pan an Auto yet again WITHOUT offering any assistance and states what we already know and have heard frequently. Do you think I seriously feel he should see a shrink? No. I'm cool with him...that was a joke, so settle down...why are you getting so upset about it? :rolleyes
You, however, continue the tired tirade by telling me to settle the F**K down? I'm cool dude, but looks like you need to settle down...you are telling me to do something you should be doing yourself.
It is amusing to me that whenever the Manual guys beat on the Auto guys and the Auto guys say anything back it's always the Auto guy's fault that he can't take a joke...typical childlike bully behavior that may have unfortunately followed you into adolescence and beyond...this behavior DOES warrant psychological help.
Bring something else to the table please! This guy is LOOKING for a car...how about doing something really daring and actually HELP HIM OUT?
:cool:cool:cool:cool
SEWELLM3 07-30-2007, 01:50 PM I'll keep my eye out. You should talk him into an E39 540 if he wants a sedan. I've owned two M3 coupes and my 540 has been my fav. I have a nice Black/Black for sale in Atlanta.

SEWELLM3, a couple of points for you, since we are having fun now:
Nice highjacking of the thread to try to sell your car, which is not what he is looking for
Snappy comeback - brief, witty and alliterative. You can quit your day job now and write for the NY Times, Skippy.
Glad that you had a dry diaper last night - I think you are ready to graduate to pull ups - are they going to be Huggies or Pampers? Make sure to tell your mom! Unfortunately, Dora the Explorer is only on the Pampers. Make sure her face is on the front, not on your heinie..wouldn't want your classmates to have a laugh at your expense.:stickoutt

Haha, ok...
I told him I'd keep an eye out, being that I'm on the east coast and all. I'm the thread hijacker??
richmondmike 07-30-2007, 11:56 PM Everybody just calm downnnn.....ha.
1. I took no offense to any commentary.
2. I don't mind people throwing their cars for sale into the mix, that's what the board is for.
I think my buddy is going for the one, the guy just wants a lotta dough. But it's clean and EXACTLY what HE wants. So, I told him to shut it and buy it.
We'll see.
Thanks to all for the suggestions.
