there are different rear window colors that you can buy on ebay. also i would check out a local convertible top shop. they might be able to make you a "tinted" window. my jeep wrangler convertible windows are tinted so i know there are darker plastic out there for soft tops.
good luck

As for the antenna, you can find used ones on ebay.

Also, see the shaved antenna (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=797103) post.

Dont do it!!! search this forum many people had already wrote about it. I think most ppl would agree that tinting on a vert looks stupid. I have thought about it too but i dont want to look stupid :cool why dont you just buy a hard top tinted??

Im pretty sure you cant tint the plastic and that you would have to buy a new plactic window in a darker color

Cling tint works fine.

And the search function is your best friend.

+1

At the very least tint the glass windows - that will make a HUGE difference.

And you can rely on your rear window to get spotted/opaque over time. Almost as good as tinting! :cool

Come on people, he is not asking about window tinting here. It clearly is a request for information on tenting your windows. I found that the easy ups are the best way to tent all the windows on your car. You put one up and drive underneath it. If you would like added tenting you can attach the sides as well. If you want to also fit the whole family in the tent you can use an additional easy up and just scoot them together.

Happy Tenting!
