Hi everyone,
Does anyone has a problem with leather back seat in E92? It creaks while drving on bumpy roads( the car is 4 months old and 9500km ). It's very annoying. I visited service and they told me there is nothing to be done because one part of a leatherseat rubs the other one and that's it!!! Is there any stuff that could help ??
Thanks

Try using some saddle soap.Besides it being a great leather cleaner it might just be slippery enough to make the contact points wear they rub stop.If it works do it eveytime they start making noise again. Hey you never know till you try.

Umm.. WTF.. My back seat is now creaking!! I noticed today driving around town with the radio off, usually its on pretty loud.. I am going to the dealer tomorrow anyhow to replace the windshield, I'll see what they recommend.

I agree with Danny. Rub those "meeting areas" with saddlesoap or a similar product. Im surprised that the dealer didnt mention this.

I had the same problem with the leatherette but it went away by itself after a few weeks.

If you have the fold down seats. Try lubricating the hinges where the fold down. You will need to move some of the material when the seat is in the down position and that should take care of the problem.
