Just wanted to say hi,

My name is Abby and I have just joined the forum.

A little about my self:
I drive a Nissan Pulsar GTiR as an everyday car, a 1968 mercedes 280SL on the weekends and my fiancee drives a bmw 1 series which we have had for 12 months.

I live in Melbourne, Australia

Since owning the 1 series and have driven it quite often, fell in love with the ride and the handling (so responsive). Which brings me to my next question.

"I now want to own my own bmw" what to buy! :rolleyes.

I now know what. Z3 M coupe is my choice, what would one of these set me back these days? I'm looking for a 01' 02' model, not fussed about the colour. I'm lokking for an original model, not modified.

If anyone is intrested in selling or noes of someone who is ready to let go of one. please email me.

I know there is only a handfull of these cars in Aus and I might have to wait a while for one, I have decided what I want unless someone tells me not to buy one because:

I would love to go for a drive in one to experiance the drive.

Abby

Welcome!

Yes they are rare over there, here too!! I think it might be a case of a few well placed keywords regularly and a lot of patience!

Does the 99 model have the same engine as the later models and do roadster and coupe share the same engines.
