As I've read/been told/come to understand, the Motorsport colors are the red that was on the E30 M3 (kind of an orange-red), Daytona Violet, and Laguna Seca Blue... Can anybody confirm/correct this?
Anyway, I wanted to suggest a photo idea, since there's so many awesome ///M cars in the area:
How about we get a photo of a red/orange E30 M3 (I dunno the name of the color), a 95 Daytona Violet M3, and a 2001 LSB M3.. This could be the first photo - preferably with cars that have stock wheels and bodywork.. park on an angle to imitate the /// on our badges.
And for the second photo, get as many of each of the cars together and arrange them in the motorsport colors like so:
//////// //////// ////////
(e30) (e36) (e46)
It's a kind of cheesy idea, but with all the pristine ///M cars in this area, the beautiful scenery we have in NorCal for a backdrop, and the number of awesome digital photographers we have on this board, this would be a sweet way to get some really nice photos.. If we got some really good ones, we could probably do a poster or something..
Anyway, any interest in something like this? And can anybody confirm / correct what I've heard about the colors?
(ps, I volunteer my car for the daytona violet e36 w/ stock wheels )
