For Sale: 1991 318is $1500 OBO
Its got 167xxx miles on it. Completely stock.

The engine runs strong. The Upper oilpan is cracked and the engine does not hold oil. The Lower oilpan is new.The engine still will start right up. There was a new radiator and water pump put in less than 1000 miles ago as well as a new Lower oilpan.
The car needs some work: suspension, brakes, fan clutch and exhaust. The exhaust pipe rusted off at the muffler. It will not pass inspection this way. The steering is straight and it shifts smoothly through all 5 gears. I drove this car about once a month from south jersey to Providence for the past 3 years of ownership with no problems.
The car was broken into once and the center consol was never fully fixed and the glove box latch was broken off while in the locked position.

id recommend new shocks and springs. that should solve the bouncy ride.
and the previous owner put the 325 badge on. i just never took it off.
and yes the A/c works, not completely ice cold but is cold. ive turned it on maybe 5 times since the windows and sunroof are plenty cool for me

What is the body like? Any rust? Clean title? Safe to drive cross-country (or half-way)?

a little rust on the lower back bumper which is shown in the pictures. as well as a small amount on the lower part of the passenger door. i wouldnt drive it cross country until the brake pads are replaced and the suspension is replaced. its very bouncy right now.
