Hey locals. Quick question for ya. Where can I get a set of contours powercoated? Im lookin to powdercoat them black and then add a red pinstripe. How much does this usally run? Should I pull of my tires before? Do I need to? Would it be cheaper if I sand-blasted them before I bring them in?
Any info will help
Thanks, Matt

Since when did they move? I had my rims done there last year and a friend of mine just dealt with them a couple of months ago. That company does the best work around.
You will need to have the tires removed and the rims sandblasted before you can get them powdercoated. Marco Sandblasting in NE Mpls. does the best work. The sandblasting will run you approx. $25 per rim depending on how hard the existing finish is to strip. If you choose a color that your powdercoater has in stock, it should cost you no more than $50 per rim...twice that for a non-stock color.

The gal on the phone said they are in WI.
they said not to sandblast the rims due to aluminium being such a soft metal, sandblasting could damage the rim.
They said 45per rim to powdercoat black and another 20 per rim to strip the finish off. is this a good deal :dunno
