Not coming up over here. BMW ETK is coming up as an ECE or a JAP 3.6 M5, DE91, manual w/ left hand drive. No year though! Good luck.

Check out:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_M5

Wiki is not a "validated" authority, but its a great writeup and info. According to the Spec section the HD91 is early model. But if for some reason the ETK is incorrect and you actually have an HC, well then money. Big indicators would be a 3.8L and 6-speed for a later model.

i'd say shes an early model say for instance the car was a 92 in the states and in 1996 some guy exported it to japan then she would get a 96 reg even though she was a 92, i have seen e30 m3's with 97 reg's in japan, i imported a 94 e30 m3 which was a 91 and when registered here she will go back to a 91.. i don't mind the year tbh as long as she's a clean one and the 3.6 is ther preferred engine for me as they are meant to be able to hold their power as the miles clock up compared to the s38
