shalashaska1985 07-25-2007, 01:50 PM I saw couple of euro S50B30 yesterday and i realized that i have sth weird or not the same as the others have.....like this
http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/5131/picture033kn5.jpg
check the thing writen on the injector's cover....
Plus my car came with a carbon fiber trim (doesnt look like the previous owner installed) that looks quit OEM. bcz i saw two cars with carbon fiber trims and they look weird....
Plus and thats a weird thing... i dont have a left head rest on the back seats, i have the right one but the left is not there and actually there is no place to put one in. i mean there are no two holes to inseret the head rest in....
does anyone knows wut does this indecates or mean....am not suggesting that my car is SPECIAL but those stuff wasnt there on the 3 94 euro M3's i saw yesterday.
Thewiseguy 07-25-2007, 02:06 PM please clarify. What is a sth? what is written on the fuel is definately aftermarket, I have never seen it before. What carbon pieces do you have?

i dunno its saying "sth power", and i have the center consel+brake handle in carbon.
and the rear head rest thing....
shalashaska1985 07-25-2007, 02:15 PM the injectores r the same color as the ones on the other M3's i checked....Yellow
Thewiseguy 07-25-2007, 03:36 PM do you have better pictures?

and the rear head rest thing....I think it says, "Iding Power", which is an aftermarket tuner.
The previous owner has made some mods. You should have 2 rear headrests, not one. One possible explanation for your current setup is that your car came from the factory without rear headrests and the PO retrofitted just one. :dunno

yeah its almost "iding power"......but some modes like wut do u think????
the car is stock but for the suspension.....
i guess ur right but the thing is there is a place (original) for the one existing..... and the other one that is missing there is nth......
M3 Euro LTW 07-25-2007, 05:36 PM They've made some wicked tuned cars in the past...
If I recall, they were (or are) not exclusive to bmw, and in fact did some Italian Stallions as well......
I recall they did cams and CF intakes, had custom bodywork panels and lightened their cars depending on the $$$ applied to the task.
I only recall them doing stroke, cam and programming on 3.0 cars, not advancing to the 3.2 versions....

but the thing is my car is (i guess) stock. it revs only to 7400rpms (didnt try and hit the limiter while driving though)....like a normal euro S50B30....Although it was much more powerfull than the other 1994 Euro Avus M3 that i was going to buy first.....
the problem is that the car is imported from japan and i dont have any connection with the PO and am really interested to know if there is anything done to the car.
rennen5 08-09-2007, 01:00 AM the headrest seats are from the M3 lux version. Just thought I would chime in so your question did not go unanswered.
shalashaska1985 08-09-2007, 02:38 AM good but u didnt answer my question really....why do i have only one of them and not both???? not just the headrest missing but also no place to intall it.
M3 Euro LTW 08-09-2007, 10:35 AM Um...hate to point out the obvious, but your question about why one headrest is missing and not the other is not likely to be answered by anyone in the forum, unless by some wild chance the people responsible for either adding just one, or taking just one out are reading this forum.
Clearly, someone added just one, and used factor parts...or, someone deleted one, and did such a good job, you can't tell because, again, they used factory stuff.
It makes sense your car is from Japan, IDING was based there, and opened up a facility in Germany if I recall...Most likely, someone in Japan bought a bunch of parts IDING sells, and installed them in your car, they may or may not have modified the engine, they may or may not have simply put a sticker on it, and changed nothing internally.
Borrow a friends stock dme, go to the dyno, see if it makes a difference. That might let you know if its "chipped". I would google IDING as well, and see if they have an online catalogue of what is available for E36...might give you some answers about your interior too.

GazM3 08-09-2007, 04:42 PM hehe maybe the prevous owner had one really tall kid, and one short one not needing a headrest LOL. M3's all came with headrests to our country so its prob missing.
Nice little bonus to have a few mods done. Perhaps whak it on a chassis dyno to see what numbers it rolls out too. Its pretty common when they chiptune a 3.0 to up the revlimit to around the 8000mark. much more common than the 3.2
