I am planning on purchasing a '08 528xi, but have received conflicting answers from two different dealers on the "active steering" option.

Dealer "A" told me that active steering is not an option on the 528xi model becasue it is "built-in to" the drivetrain and steering, that is why you don't see it as an option.

Dealer "B" told me that it is flat out not available for the 528xi, and THAT is why you don't see it as an option.

Can anyone here make sense of this for me? Thanks in advance for any help!

I don't pay a lot of attention to the steering of the xi or any car for that matter (unless there si a complaint.) I think dealer B is correct. I can't remember seeing active steering on an xi vehicle. as for '08 though I'm not sure.
