Hey guys. I'm trying to help my mom out with a problem she's been having with her bluetooth connection in her car. I'm not that technically savy so I'll explain everything in basic terms. She got a new phone (Motorola RAZR MAXX Ve). She has the bluetooth setup in her car and her last phone (also Motorola) worked fine. Her problem has been this. Her phone recogonizes the car and the car recogonizes the phone but apparently the connection between the two lasts only a few seconds before getting broken off. She talked to the people in the Verizon store about it and they don't know anything about it apparently. Is there anything she is missing or should she just take it right to the BMW dealership to have the problem diagnosed? I hope someone can help can thanks in advance if you can.

Delete out all the phones and repair the new one from scratch. If it's the same symptom, see if the phone can hold a connection w/ a bluetooth headset. That should get you down to the car or the phone. Sometimes just turning BT on and off via idrive will do the trick.
