Hi does anyone know a good local shop near Raleigh that has experience doing the e30 urethane subframe bushings for a Z3?

I noticed Dave's Automotive is listed off of IE's website, I was also thinking Johnson and Johnson, or Krause and England.

Anyone have any idea who does a good job @ a decent price?

Shadetree Garage, talk to Truett Ray. He's in the Raleigh/Cary area--google the shop name, they have a website

Dave's Automotive, Johnson + Johnson, Shadetree Garage or Krause + England all would be capable of doing it no problem.

The first 3 would likely be about the same cost-wise, K&E would probably be a bit more $$$.

Thanks guys.

I ended up going with Dave's Automotive. It was my first time there, but he's a GREAT guy. Even found a problem I had where the rear brace I had a different shop put on my car wasn't properly installed.

I definitely recommend him

Good to hear. Dave IS a great guy, and as long as you go there realizing that he's a one-man shop and it might take him some time to work you in- you'll be fine. He has plenty of experience working on track/race cars, so he will not shy away from something you want to do to your car along those lines- in fact, he may be able to give you some good advice based on actual experience rather than bench racing......
