Here are some pics from the meet this weekend. There were a bunch of Corvettes, Ford GTs, Vipers, Ferrari 360's, Lotus Elises, CTS-Vs, a Ferrari 355, Porsche 911TT, Porsche 944, Toyota Supra TT, Lamborghini Gallardo, Saleen S7TT, GTO, 350Z, M3, M Coupe, Dinan 323Ci, and a Mustang Cobra. We met at a park and ride and drove to Lake Geneva for dinner. After dinner we had a nice :devillook cruise around the lake. During the cruise I was behind Andy's Ferrari F360 with Gruppe M/Hamann exhaust. Thanks Andy for the wonderful symphony! :redspot I couldn't even hear my exhaust and your car was some 40 feet in front of me. Thanks also to Joel (blue Z06) and Tony (blue Ford GT) for organizing everything!

That poor M coupe...I've seen some really tacky mods done to them in the Z3 forum, but that takes the cake.

Any info on what all was done to that 944? It looks like a really clean setup.

Once I get the pics sorted I will post the pics from BRIC. Saw a 917, a bunch of LeMans cars, Porsche 908s, Carrera GT, too many Porsches to list (Porsche Park had over 100 Porsches), old F1 car - including Prost's old car, and Laudia (sp) Ferrari, and the Johnny Walker Lotus F1.

there were 3 vintage McLarens, 2 Morgan Areo 8s.

1 tent had a BMW CSL.

Another tent had the Bentley Lemans car, a vintage Porsche LeMans, an Audi R8, and one other LeMans race car - Yes 1 team fielded 4 LeMans cars.

The parking lot had just as many awesome cars, including a vitage Ferrari, a 308, 355, and 2 F430s.

All in all a great time. Steal at $80 buck to get in.

The person is on the board - IIRC, his shop is listed in WI reputable shops, parked at the top.

No one got to find out sadly. The guy that owns it is a bit older, so I guess he didn't want to show off or something. :confused:shifty The guy owns All Glass Aquariums and makes major $$$. He has this Saleen S7TT and a regular Saleen S7 (non turbo) as well. :nono

When I was taking the picture the guy was trying to wire up his headlights. You can see the mess of wires behind the engine. I give the guy a lot of credit though. He said that he and his buddy had the entire dashboard ripped out about 7 hours earlier and rewired everything. He didn't hook up the headlights because he didn't plan on staying out past dusk. :lol :lol It was a really nice none the less. I didn't ask what exhaust he had, but it sounded mean driving away.

ah, now i understand. i took the m3 out on saturday late afternoon. i was on i-43 headed towards milwaukee. there was a LARGE gathering of state patrol near east troy. apparently they were out for a large exotic car ralley. (someone else later told me.) needless to say, i got pulled over. no, not for speeding. i had no idea why. i suppose the car did look out of place....orange car, harnesses, camera mount, numbers. well, after a LONG chat about what, where, firearms and such......i got a warning for loud exhaust. definately a fishing expedition.

anyone else get up-close-and-personal with the 6 state patrol lined up?

wish i had known there was a get together. i live 5min away from the abbey.

The Franken-M has not been to the track yet. It may wait until next year since the budget is going towards our wedding and honeymoon. In the meantime, I have taken it to a few events/car shows. It gets drooled over a lot.
