Hello,

For sale is my beloved e34 1995 540ia. As you can see from the pictures the car is very well maintained. It is a very powerful car, as I'm sure I don't need to tell anyone on this forum. An interesting note is that at 68000 miles the nickel based block was replaced by the dealer - meaning that as of this moment, this car is actually a 48000 mile car!

As this car IS 12 years old it does show the normal signs of wear, a ding here, a scratch there. I made one mistake however in the beginning of ownership. . .I went too ambitious with the wheels and they rubbed the fenders in the front -this can be remedied rolling the fenders.

All told however, it is a very handsome car with very good paint and still draws alot of compliments.

The drivetrain is solid. With 116K miles on the body, the interior looks pretty much as good as new. I replaced the ENTIRE front end suspension 5000 miles ago, including struts, tie rod ends, bushings et. al.

You will notice the shadowline makes this car look an awful lot like a 740i sport. I had the shadowline painted as well as put clear lights all the way around the car AND installed M5 mirrors. In addition I lowered the car moderately using new Eibach Springs and installed OEM e39 sport BBS two-piece wheels for a more modern look.

The car runs and drive awesomely and is serviced when it needs it by a BMW specialist here in Houston called Bimmer Workshop.

Only SERIOUS inquiries please, this is an awesome opportunity to invest in a BMW that will last you many years to come.

Is nobody in the market for an black 540 E34?

Seriously, somebody give me some feedback, I think this is an awesome car, but am not getting the interest I expected.

I've got the paperwork to prove the Alusil conversion and I'll buy you a carfax if necessary. . .

Give me some feedback please. Thanks.

Roman.

Very nice car. Maybe price is a little bit high although the block was replaced at 68k. G/L with the sale

I'd get it up on craigslist and Autotrader - I think a local sale is far more likely. An auto 540 isn't going to get much attention here.

It looks great and I think you could get $7K on a local sale, anyway.

If it was a i/6 you could get this price--more, actually--easily. It's the auto that's keeping it where it is... at least on Bimmerforums. Try Craigslist, Roadfly, and Autotrader.

Agreed. Slushies get no love around here. There is an E39 sitting in my garage already or this would be mine.:(
