There is a little pin that holds the door retaining bar (keeps the door from opening too far) to the A-pillar post. I removed the lower clip but I can't seem to push it out. Some kind of trick?

Does the arm slip out or unbolt from the other end (door side)?

This is the only thing stopping me from paint :mad:help:mad:help

Should just tap out with a hammer. Mine did.

I feel your pian, kicked my ass a week back. Just spray some PB blaster or WD-40 on the pin, drink a beer take a hammer and a skrew driver a tap it out. Drink another beer and admire your work. Oh yea, drill a small hole in the hinge so when your done painting and go to reinstall the doors, they will line up perfectly as before

12 hours later I have won the battle and removed the pins. Did find out that the door springy thing on the driver's door was cracked. Need to eBay a new one.
