I just noticed a 15" "L" shaped crack in my front windshield - a momento picked up at VIR last weekend :(
Any reco's on a come to your home replacement service would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I had Safelite replace the windshield on my 350Z last year.

They came to my office, had it done in about 45 minutes, and weren't bad at all for price ($205 ish). The job was well done and looked as good if not better than the original.
Obviously not an E36, but the reco still stands.
Good luck.

+1 for safelite, quick, they come to you and aren't bad on price. Guy came to my work and swapped out my e30 windshield in 15 minutes. Kinda felt like a ripoff considering how long it took him. LOL

Can't for IP though. I found a place here in ILM that did it for $150 installed!

im thinking now of building more towards an all out HPDE champion car -- not something set to specific rules as the BMW IP Class -- still undetermined.
But, regardless, I have to replace the rear window - as the heat from the welding of the new quarter panel, well, just did not interact with the tempered glass to well :eyecrazy:eyecrazy:eyecrazy
