Buddy iX 07-21-2007, 11:45 PM Hey fellow UT BMW Friends! BMW Club SOS has just approved a UT Chapter. I wanted to invite all of you to join Club SOS and come to our events!
July 28th: Independent Auto (Provo) will be having a DINAN Grand Opening/BBQ/rides-in-a-DINAN-M3-420+hp day starting at 10:00am to 2:00pm.
Aug 18th: Club SOS will be joining BMW CCA for a Drive/picnic. Meeting at BMW of P.G. at 10:30.
Club SOS will be planning BBQs, Tech-nights, Drives, and much much more. Join our Google groops at groups.google.com/group/bmwclubsos

Where do I find Club SOS?
Buddy iX 07-22-2007, 06:57 PM I like the car! You can find SOS at bmwclubsos.com. Since this is a multi-state club you can join our google groop to find out what we are doing next. I've planed on a Chapter meet in Provo in a week and a drive/picnic in mid Aug.
We'll be doing a ton more but we also need to grow the club for the local area. Where in UT do you live? What kind of events would you like to see?

Not to sound crazy... but are you ever in American Fork... That's where I am and I SWEAR I've seen your car in a parking lot AND pulling out of a gas station!!

Buddy iX 07-23-2007, 10:09 AM Crazy!... I work in AF! I work at the Radio Shack next to Parker's and Cold Stone. And my car runs on gas and I run on Mountain Dew so sometimes I go to the gas station. I'm working today 10-3pm.

Eventually I'd like to hold a quick meeting to see what everyone wants to do for future stuff. If you know anyone that is interested in joining us be sure to let them know! More Bimmers is better! There are also some flyers that I made up that we can use to hand out. I can email that to you if you want or you can download it of the google groop page. Oh, and do you have more pics of the car? I'd love to get an e34 535/540 my self. In fact, I'll be looking to buy one early next year (Red).

Also, to those that are local, WasatchDrivers.com is a fairly huge site and they run a few drives quite often. Used to be BMW originated (since we all came from this place), but now it is going more towards the direction of all types of vehicles.

Buddy iX 07-30-2007, 01:32 PM The meet was fun. Almost everyone from SOS was there... which is only a small hand full (SOS is still new!). We got to ride in the DINAN M3 which was wicked fast. Very fun. And the food was tasty, to me at least :-) You should join the Google groop to learn about future events!
