New to this so please be patient with this question. Had just checked with Turner motorsport for a custom chip as theirs from jc (for my just purchased from original owner 88 M6) is for 91 octane and above. Does anyone else make a chip that offers config to offer even more gains if using a higher octane, or am I chasing a dead horse (no pun intended). Just checking before purchasing the jc one. thanks

The general chips are only available for common gas types, so up to 93 octane. Since the S38 lacks a knock sensor, and a rebuild is lots of cash, I'd be hesitant of using a 93 chip, especially since lately stations have taken to diluting the high octane to reduce costs.
In order to get, say, a 100 octane tune, it would have to be custom. There are a couple of guys on this board that could do it.

Thanks. Given the caution flag from xatlas, I installed the standard JC chip. Definately a noticable change in the high end hp (as claimed).
