Mods please stickey
Hey guys,
I am finding that is very difficult to source and buy, upgrade parts for the euro M3 motor here in the states. I am calling on all of you guys to help me compile a list of aftermarket companies, and parts that we have had success with.

Please list contact information, what parts you reccomend, how much, and how much of an improvement you felt.

Oh yeah, and being that a lot of the companies websites are in a language other than english, anyone that speaks other languages would be a huge help as a translater.

Thank you.

those are really nice! One question thought, what kind of air filter is suposed to be used with them though.

I'd assume you just buy an open element K&N style and spec what size ID you need to fit the OD of the plenums funnel.

We have Supersprint's cat-less exhaust. Manifold is covered with ThermoTec. Increase was incredible! Noticeable from the first second. I'm not talking about the sound =)

remus works well I am told, whatever you get though, make sure it is euro version with twin 2.5" pipes, not 2" pipes

Where do you guys get the SS euro exhaust parts? I assume they are big time $?

Any other good muffler choices if someone wants to make their own straight pipes?

You can get the SS stuff from bmpDesign. the test pipes are around $600,and the exausts are around $800, and the cats are about $2000.

Guys, to be useful, this thread should have been kept to a pure list of aftermarket companies.

People could always come back and edit their own single note in here with new information.

Now we've got a bunch of side conversations.

People should edit and delete posts that go off on tangents, or start threads on new subjects.

Kempower: Excellent bypass black box for cluster delete

I've been looking for that CF airbox / intake manifold for the S50B30. I've seen the one on ebay but I second the quality of it. I know some of you guys have that one, hows the quailty? And also would it work with the Gruupe M short ram intake?

Here are my mods/associated anecdotal results:

1.H&R Race Springs: reduced body roll/slightly less understeer
2.Kosei wheels with 245 40ZR17 Pirellis: most significant handling improvement with much reduced understeer and more balanced handling ie.neutral plus more grip
3.X brace used: more precise handling and stiffer front chassis
4.Supersprint resonators and new cats: Much more freer revving and a bit more punch at higher rpms
5.B&M shift kit from Turner Motorsports-standard one: does not reduce throws much but more precise and positive shifting
6.Turner Motorsports Chip plus K&N panel filter: Crisper throttle response plus freer revving with noticeable mid to upper rpm power gain

Planned upgrades/mods in the near future:

Turner Motorsports Reinforcement Kit for preventative measures
Race Type Seats for better support and lighter weight
Lighter Batter ie.Odyssey

I think we need to start this again...I think this list needs to be specific to MOTOR mods. All other mods are generic even to US M3s.

That is exactly what I was intending. How should I make the original post more clear?
