View Full Version : Anyone have an spare 17" tires laying around?
Jcbe34 07-19-2007, 11:41 AM I'm looing for some tires to use on my car temporarily until I get my other set of wheels. I won't be using them long so I don't want to spend a ton of money on them.. I need 225/45-17, 245/40-17 or 235/40-17 and 255/40-17... or anything else you have staggered. Don't care about brand, but I don't want Nankangs or Generals, etc.. Let me know what you've got
Boozie D. Clown 07-19-2007, 11:49 AM I've got a stock set of M3 18"s wrapped in Toyo T-1Rs. I'm not sure if they would fit your 540, though.
PrinceE30 07-19-2007, 11:53 AM I've got 3 17" tires that are still usable, but warn. You would be able to get 20k miles out of them probably. PM or email me (randallprince@gmail.com) and I'll get pictures and brands of them to you ASAP.

M3Alpine99 07-19-2007, 11:54 AM How long you need them for?
What car?
Wanna borrow my track wheels/tires? They are 235.40.17 on Style 44s...
Jcbe34 07-19-2007, 11:55 AM Don't think they would in the front. I just need tires really, I've got 3 sets of wheels. 1 set was just finished, the second set is taken apart and the 3rd set has dry-rotted tires. So I just need some kind of staggered 17" tire to get me by, my car is undriveable right now with the tires that are on it.:nono
As far was wheels and tires I would need them until the 23rd.. which is monday I believe. But the offset would have to be ~20mm or so, this is an e34. I appreciate the offers!
M3Alpine99 07-19-2007, 11:57 AM These are +47 et :)

Sorry to t-jack a little but... how do you like the T1-R's on the bimmer? I had some T1-S's on my Integra and LOVED them, now have some R's to go on when it runs again, but that's a significantly lighter car... Any ideas on how the big fo-do would like them? I just got some G-farce Sports for the rear.
Jcbe34 07-19-2007, 12:01 PM Well damn. Don't think that would work to well. Thanks anyways though!
webejammin 07-19-2007, 12:08 PM I got some 205/50-17 sitting in my garage yours for a song
CDM5GO 07-19-2007, 12:31 PM You can come look through the take off pile of tires, if you like. If you find some you can have them free.
Just don't bring them back.

Jcbe34 07-19-2007, 12:34 PM How big is the pile? Sounds like a plan to me.. There a good chance I'll find what I'm looking for? Where is this "pile"?

delgadoduvidoso 07-19-2007, 04:48 PM I got a pair of Yokohama A032R's in 255/40/17 with one track school on them. Don't know if you'd want to run them on the street, though (they're noisy as hell).
