MY FUCKING CAR GOT TOWED B/c the people who directed us to park, along with like a crap load of other people, were frauds and they charged us 10 bux for parking. We come back after it was pretty much over (the concerts) and we cant find my car lol. So we go around to the gas station and we find out there's a few other people there who's car were towed too. Then as it got darker more and more started to realize they were scammed. We called the towing place and nicely asked what happened (we kinda cursed at em) and they said it would cost $125 to get the car out. So we basically have no ride home. But we found one. And now i have to somehow pick up my car in Jonsboro. Yea 20ish cars were towed from the HiFi Buys Amphitheatre in ATL to Jonsboro...i dont know how far away that is??

So now I have to pick up my car somehow.

I wonder if they were in collusion with the towing company?

You are probably confusing Jonesboro Rd in Atlanta with Jonesboro the city.

If it was towed by "A" tow, then it will be at their yard just off of Jonesboro Road which is about 2 miles from the Amphitheatre at 180 Harriett Street SE.

I have to say, the last time I went to that venue, I decided to see what the VIP parking pass from Ticketbastard got us, and it was actually worth it. You get waved all the way in from the western entrance off Pryor, right down the hill to the gate. With the tack-on fees and what-not, I think it was ~30-something bucks, but I consider it money well spent to avoid BS like this. If I ever have to go down there again, you can bet I'll get the parking pass as well as the tickets.

They said I need my VIN or my license plate number. And I dont know either. So I have to call insurance company to get it. They wont even just let me describe it to see if it is actually there.. My license is in my car along with both my friends licenses and money etc.

You could try, but I seriously doubt the APD will do jack-squat. Without names and good descriptions of the "attendants," you'd have nothing to really tell them, and they'll not be terribly inclined to listen.

I'd say just go get your car ASAP (translation: now), and consider it a lesson learned about what happens at venues in da hood. :thumbdown

ok i got car back. It was $141.00 to get it out which includes the fucking rain we had today with a pool surrounding my car and stepping in it and getting shoes muddy which leads to getting floor of e30 muddy.
