I was told that you may have already been down the road I am going at present time - removing the center resonator on my e38. I am pl,anning to replace it with a crossover and pipe on back to my Remus rear muffler exhaust.

My concerns are a). How loud will the increase over my old set up and b). will it drone or resonate to the point where it is no longer pleasent to drive?

Any information you can supply on this topic would be greatly appreciated as I am waiting for parts to arrive before comnpleting this change/replacement.

Darth,FWIW, I believe I saw a post by james saying that he replaced his resonator because it was too loud without it and the Drone was overpowering..

I'll try to link it if I find it or james dosent respond himself...

Yep here it is, He put the resonator back on because the drone was too loud.
