Okay, I'm new. Got our '02 745 Li in April. 30,000 miles, white/tan int. Love at first sight. I've searched the forum, and can't find anyone who's discussed how to reset the oil service indicator light for that particular model and year. From what I've seen, the Peake reset tool doesn't work for this 'un.

Also recently purchased new remote/key fob, and sometimes when I use it, it apparently changes the dash display settings to metric (temp, distance). The remote/key fob that came with the car doesn't do that, just the one that I purchased (for $132 from the dealer I might add) Any idea how I can set the remote so that doesn't happen anymore? I'm pretty good with numbers, but it gets old trying to figure out whether or not 23 degrees C is anywhere close to 70 deg. F.

The key issue sounds like a key memory thing, and those sorts of things can usually only be programmed by a dealer. If they sold it to you, they should tell you what's up.
