Jay,

Last Saturday I had to see my doctor which is why I left the C&C meet early.

I didn't want to say but I need to get another CT scan done, finally got it scheduled for Thursday and will need to see my doctor on Saturday which is during the test and tune.

I wanted to be Reid's co-driver but at this point due to this thing the doctor saw on a different scan that I have to go through this but I need to check on this possible big health issue.

Whoa Gary -
Sounds rather serious, I just hope all goes well.
Let me know if there's anything I can do...not that I can do much, but if I can I will!
Sunday, not good for me. I have church in the morning and then again in the afternoon.

Guys thanks your prayers mean a lot to me. I have been shot at and attacked with knives and hatchets but never have I been more afraid of then taking this scan.

The Sunday drive is more then likely for the next Sunday as this weekend is for the AutoX.

Woody, I want to see if I can get some guys to go on a Sunday, then will do a Saturday one again, God permitting that is.

If anything bad happens which shouldn't but if by chance something does, my wife will be calling Reid.

Gary, Alex and I are sorry to hear that there might be some issues coming up. Please let us know if there is anything we can do, or if you need anything at all. I don't want to go out on a limb here and assume anything, but we (my family) have been going through a lot with my mom having a very lengthy list of issues concerning her health (gone through chemo four times, radiation six times) and if there ever comes a time when you want to sit and chat just let me know. Took a drive and it lifted my spirits, damn that sport button does wonders for the car, night and day difference in performance.

Ed the drive is for next Sunday the 29th.

I can tell you that I am proud to be a part of this board, well actually family. For the short time I have been here, I have been welcomed and I have made friends with everyone I have met. Which is why I encourage everyone to get out and meet others by coming out to the meets as friendships are developed.

Thanks guys, I just need to stay positive as I need to be Reid's co-driver. :D

Lets see as long as I still have the 330 if it rains the 645 is a GARAGE QUEEN :D Reverse --- Rain --- Return to Garage

Actually taking out the 330 now is great as I finally got the car to the way I always wanted it to look with the M-Technic side skirts and the smoked front corners.

But Rich it would be nice a new 6 series and 5 series especially an M5 in a nice Sunday Cruise, end up at Kualoa Park with some bento and soft drinks.

Richard have fun in Disneyland, Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain are my two favorite rides.

John, will post up more details as we get closer to the 29th as I will need a better head count for the bentos.

Thinking the best would be like Zip Packs and a cooler of soda or juice. Or we can even do a shrimp lunch in Kahuku.

Okay it is settled everyone gets their own lunch. I will bring a cooler with some sodas and water, I know Reid likes Diet and I like the Regular so will have both.

The lunch will be restricted as there is no place to buy around the North Shore except for Kailua or Kaneohe.

I do believe the zip pack type of lunch will keep.

So I would change the meeting place to Mililani Town Center to buy the food from the Zippy's their.

And don't worry if you don't participate, we will pull over at the T intersection which will take us down the winding road, until everyone catches up.

WOODY, WOODY, nah sorry buddy Church is more important. Will do another Saturday one or one after your Church services.

The route will be taking the H-2 freeway from Mililani to Wahiawa taking Wilikina Dr. going past Schofield then going right at the V intersection, we will turn left at the blinking light which is where the fun run will be done as this is a cross over road and very seldom used, nice stretch of road going for about 2 miles. We will then stop on the side at the T-intersection to get everyone together before hitting the twisty road. Then a nice drive to Kaena Point.

Woody, at 1130 best you call me, we will probably be at Kaena Point around 0930 or 1000 take pictures and since we will not be in a rush like last time at least enjoy more of the scenery. From Kaena Point we will head to Kaiaka Park in Haleiwa then to Haleiwa Boat Harbor. Will then head out to Sunset unknown if Ed wants to detour up Pupukea, I may have him take the lead at that point.

Maybe Richard should join up with you at Waipio then the two of you can at least drive together to meet with us.

Woody the other option for you is that the next Sunday maybe Jeff and I and anyone else wanting to go at 1130 can meet you at Waipio then head out. Do the run have a lunch in Haleiwa at maybe Haleiwa Joes by the boat harbor.

Still waiting on the Boss, if I can excuse myself from the basketball game the next question is do I cut my Sunday run short, or get up even earlier so I can be in Mililani by 8:30:confused

Hey Vexed,
Are you running with the Hon Marathon Clinic Group or on your own? I'm unable to make the cruise since by the time we (beginner's group) finish 10 miles it is around 10:30+....am and I need all the help/training I can get.

On my own, I see the Clinic people leaving Kap Park as I am coming down Diamond Head a little before 8 am. I'm one of those sweaty older guys.

+1 for me on the sweaty older guy thing. Ok, will keep an eye out for you returning back as we head on out. If you see someone in a navy blue nike cap that waves and yells out "VEXED" then you'll know it was me.:cool

I'll look for a new M5 around the area!!

You know you have to test the exhaust. Great you will have All4BMW as your shotgun rider, good intro into the group. So when he gets his sedan he can jump right in and be active.

FYI
Next week Sunday will be Autox Sunday (August 5) and I'm sure you guys would rather do that than take a drive right?
However, it was the thought that counted and I appreciate it very much! :buttrock

Okay just to set things straight the road that we are doing these speed runs are safe. It is seldom used and the road does not have potholes, slight curves and slight elevation changes. I think I can speak for everyone who made the drive that WE HAD FUN.

Jayson, hit 145 +

I got to 135 + being first I came up to the vehicle who was in front

The guy on the bicycle (very good rider) was stoked as he passed us as we were parked on the road in Kaena Point he gave us the thumbs up.

What a site with the mixture of cars there we did draw attention including my friends in Blue who did a U turn to follow the back group, they probably were checking out the cars. :D
