Hi to all, I have a 1988 bmw 735i....very nice!! However I left the lights on overnight and the battery was dead....since then I have figured out how to change the car from german to english but I get three gong sounds after about an hour of driving and no message on the obc...what does this mean? How do I fix it? Please help!!

When you look at your OBC display...is there a "soundwave" icon to the far right of the "time of day" illuminated in the display? (see 1st pic below)

If yes, then you've activated the HOUR MEMO.

Thank you thank you thank you!!!! I thought something was terribly wrong!! Do you know how to reset the obc once service has been done on the car?
