Hey everybody!
Let me do a quick re-introduction because i haven't posted in a while :P
I bought myself a 1998 Techno Violet E36 M3 Evo a few months back here in Austria and am enjoying every minute of it. However, because i'm a nitpick i have a few questions.
Firstly, i've noticed a slight vibration from the engine when standing at the light for 10-20 seconds. They are very light vibrations and only occur while i'm standing or revving in Neutral (SMG). There is no drop or any sort of change in the RPM. Not quite sure what it could be. I mean, i changed the sparkplugs a month or two ago, but don't know about the injectors. Airfilter is also pretty new. Next thing i would think about doing is getting a compression check, if that doesn't work out i should really dive into the injectors and see.
Oh and the VANOS gears have been changed at 98k kilometers, also, a valve adjustment has been made at the same time.
The other thing is, i have a rattle in the back. I know, i know, shocktowers, but i can't see anything. And it only occurs from time to time (Great isn't it?) and is more of a rattle (Brrrrrr) than a Thunk, Clunk or the such (Technical language!). I'm suspecting the bumper because i think somebody hit me while parked. It definitely isn't the muffler, hangs nice and free.
