Yup. Missed the turn by Pole C every time. (It was the last 90 degree turn right befor going into the finish box).

Cool, I managed to beat the other e90. Looks like the RX7 gave Jim's Caterham a run for his money.

We should put a little * next to group 3 people. Would like to see how all the rain times compared even though it started to dry up a lot towards the end, the last 1/4 of the track was wet by the 180 turn.

I think Matt said that all of E was in run group 3. But yes...that would be a good idea.

Usually, the course worker that give out the time slips at the end writes down that it's a DNF when you are given your slip.

Ahh well. I'll pay more attention next time. I still had a great time! :buttrock

I woulda toldya except I was standing by pole C :rolleyes. Hey, you just found a shortcut, that's all. Seriously though, times don't matter (that much). It's the experience.

We haven't gone through the pics yet - it will probably be Wednesday at the earliest before they're sorted - I'll post the good ones.

That shouldn't happen and we will beat the time slip writer into understanding the process for the next event.

geez... about as bad as I figured. At least I didnt hit any cones? Guess I need lots more practice at this. never felt like I was doing the slalom right and knew I could've carried alot more speed into the next bunch of corners. [[where's that chicken emoticon??]]

thanks to everyone out there - I certainly had a good time. Extra kudos to the folks who worked the course while group 3 was running - certainly was ample opportunity to run for the hills beforehand!

Are you running with Seat-Time at Roebling in August? If so, let me know what you think about the event. I signed up with them to run at Roebling Oct 19th or 26th (web site says 19th, Jon's email indicated 26th ???) and I'm curious what I may have gotten myself into. :stickoutt

After watching the time slip dispenser almost get run over during run Group 2 by a car sliding sideways through the stop box, I can see why volunteers were hard to come by during Group 3!

My times were pretty terrible too :( Old bargain bin tires + no alignment + rain = sideways

Yeah...that was a bit of a shock! At least he was looking up and was able to leap and bound out of the way....literally. And that was before any rain. I guess that guy's brakes got a little overheated.

I've run with seat-time 5 times in the past - a good organization. I went to their inaguaral events and the instructors were decent if not great. But once you get signed off, there is ample track time! Over the 2 days in August I expect 4+ hours of on-track time.

yeah dude braked way late in the stop box and was already turning at almost full lock when he locked up the front brakes and understeered towards timeslip dispenser

Luckily the time slip dispenser had cat like agility and "Spidy sense". Very impressive.
