I recently had my first oil change service through my local dealership. I have a 2006 Z4 3.0si and I never had any issues with the DRL's until getting it back from the dealer.

My problem is that the DRL's used to be the inside of the 2 headlights (halogen). Now they are no longer active but the low-beam (Xenons) are on instead. When switching on the headlights, only the park lights activate and the high beams.

Is this something I should get changed. Will the xenons wear out and I would be forced to replace them at a ridiculous cost, or should I not worry and keep this rare mod that was allocated to me via the dealership.
