no, the euro has individual throttle bodies, and the head is different so it is not bolt on

just out of curiosity why dont the US m3 owners fabricate larger plenums for thier intake manifolds?

BMP used to sell a set up that could be used on M50 motors.

Bekker's import also marketed a ITB set up for US M50 motors.

I do not know how similar or different they are/were.

The primary issue goes beyond just bolting ITB and a large plenum however... the angles and shape of the intake ports on the M50 engines is simply VERY different from the euro head which is more like the S14, S38 etc....designed from the start to flow better and with the ITB set up.

ITB's on an M50-based motor are a complete waste. Your current manifold flows very well and is more than enough for that motor. The head does not and can not flow like a Euro head which is the biggest bottleneck of the system. No way around it either.

FYI it's an intake "plenum" not manifold.

member m52 here has euro M3 ITB's on his car, with custom adaptor plate and modified oil filter housing, his is M52 323i converted to 2.8L, he is now adding turbo (and retaining ITB's)
