Thanks To All. jays323i 07-12-2007, 11:19 AM Look by the top of the passenger side strut tower kinda under the intake tube for the LOW side Dirt Racer 99 07-13-2007, 01:13 AM Same question, I need the low side to add R12, there is one valve by the strut tube & one by the sight glass behind the right headlight, hard to tell which is the "low" side........ is that the strut located valve?? BLUEBETTSYE28 07-14-2007, 08:16 AM Thanks a million Jay, I'm all set. Hey Dirt racer the low side is the one next to the pass. strut tower as Jays323i stated. Dirt Racer 99 07-14-2007, 03:41 PM Thanks Guys, I tried it yesterday and I was told that the system would just suck the R12 right in....... it seems to have only taken a little, mabie 1/6th of the 1lb can. In the hot sun I can only get the temp down to around 50 deg, in the shade a couple hours later I got it to 45 and then to 42 after it took a breath of the R12. I remember a cars AC going to 38 deg...... I still have to vacum out the condensor as I was told to do that too. Any Ideas or explanations????? 88m53453 07-16-2007, 11:36 AM yep a restriction keeping the compressor from sucking the freon in would do it as would a weak compressor |
