ok so i just moved to texas and now i'm trying to find a place to wash my car. the apartment complex that i'm at won't allow me to hook up a hose and give the car the proper washing it deserves. anyone recommend a good place for me?

Car Spa is a decent commercial car wash.

There are a couple detailers on this forum if you don't mind spending a bill for a detail.

grab a hose and come over Sunday. Mine needs a bath too. And then Greg can come over and we can all have a water fight. YEAH!

I like the quarter wash. Seems like I can clean it better myself everytime than taking it somewhere. Plus, it saves a lot of money.

My detail guy comes to you(if you have a hose) or you can goto him. He charges $40 for a detail job. He works fast but is detail could take up to 3 hours. Great guy. Great wash and wax. Had 4 cars washed this past weekend. Let me know if you want his number

I was happy with what he did. But i'll be buying my own products for him to use next time, so he will be.

shoot i'd probably wash that car for free...but the owner probably wouldnt let me :-(

He washed, waxed and buffed. Then cleaned and conditioned the leather etc etc.
I'm not sure what is exactly done in a perfect car wash scenario. But i'm sure he will do it if I get the products I want. I read your old thread wash, clay, wash, and polish. correct? guess that is what I'll have him do next time. What exactly does clay do? does it replace soap?
