I found a pair of TDO4L (subaru wrx) turbos for $200 each locally (which is a good price)..
i crunched some numbers and found the project will be around $1300, which is well within my current budget

i ultimately want to turbo the S50..and a GT40R costs too much..

so i am thinking about buying these turbos now(summer so no uni) and making the exhaust manifold, DP, plumbing and oil lines etc. and running very low boost (~3-5psi)
intercooled on stock CR and stock ECU
i have a wideband to check the a/f ratio and lower boost accordingly

and next summer when more funds are available, all i'd have to do is install a high boost headgasket, clutch, powermod piggyback, injectors, fuel pump and tune it on higher boost

i was hoping ultimately for ~550bhp and these turbos support ~540bhp at 60% efficiency iirc

there are some issues though, if i can install the MAF post-turbos and it works as usual that would make the plumbing alot easier for me..or else its going to be a plumbing nightmare
also do you think stock fueling can add enough fuel for ~380bhp? (~5psi)
and engine wont explode cuz stock CR ? we get 98 RON here, ill try to see if i can make some money selling some stuff and buy a water injection kit.. i could get a rising rate FPR, but the problem is that the s50b32 already runs a 5bar system, and i dont want to load the stock fuel pumps so much

any thoughts ? turbo selection ..?

the injetors aree already at about 78% so u will need to change them or use a rising rate fuel pressure regulator if boost is low good luck fitting twins as even a single is not that easy
