Reverse threaded means righty lose and lefty tight. I'm going to borrow the BMW tool from one of the local forum members (Mad Dog 20/20). I tried everything imaginable to try and get this damn thing off in the past 3 days. Damn you BMW. sKunkman 07-10-2007, 12:15 AM Yes sir. Reverse threaded means righty lose and lefty tight. I'm going to borrow the BMW tool from one of the local forum members (Mad Dog 20/20). I tried everything imaginable to try and get this damn thing off in the past 3 days. Damn you BMW. I did it with channel locks (gripped two of the nuts, but the tstat housing has to be off) and a crescent wrench. Hurt like hell when it broke tension, and both tools went flying, but I got it off. vjlax18 07-10-2007, 08:26 AM Just an FYI. The largest wrench Sears carries in MM is the 32. Buy it, use it, clean it up real nice, take it back and say you needed something larger... Not exactly the right thing to do, but that shit's expensive yo! Nihilation 07-10-2007, 10:08 AM ^ I'm with grumpy. vjlax18 07-10-2007, 10:13 AM Bite me |
