luckytopher 07-08-2007, 06:39 PM dude, i saw that opel on craigslist! the guy wanted like $350 or somethin if i remember right? i was tellin pepe how i wanted to get that for a project!
elemental59437 07-08-2007, 06:48 PM LOL.. yeah I got it for $300 then did nothing to it. I almost started working on it but it had a LOT of bondo on it and wasnt worth the time and money for me. I plan on getting a restored one at some point but I just couldnt spend the cash I needed to on it to get it in good shape. I traded it for a 360 to have something that would be easier to sell but ended up keeping it.
luckytopher 07-08-2007, 06:54 PM do you still have the kit car? is it fiero based?
i like it...
elemental59437 07-08-2007, 07:01 PM Yeah its sitting in the garage next to the M3. It was originally VW based but this was the car that the owner of the company was making for himself. Its got a mid engine V6 on a custom frame with Mustang II front and Corvair rear. The rear brakes are actually inbound, pretty cool setup.

luckytopher 07-08-2007, 07:18 PM looks sweet... plans to finish it? :P
does it run yet?
elemental59437 07-08-2007, 07:39 PM It hasnt run in 30 years. I have a 4.0 SOHC V6 that will bolt right into the same motor mounts and and Porsche transmission. It might be a car I get to drive when I am 30, im in no real rush to get it finished anytime soon.

it is. I think the jeep is a project as well, but it gets street time.

VERY nice.. I am pretty sure my next BMW is going to be an e30 M3. I just love that car..
I love the oldschool VW's too, and before I die want to own one of those.
