Just curious how many people are here for the community aspect. I'm sure most are here because they have some sort of question, have a vehicle on the way and have questions, or have problems and want to vent/get advice, or want to sell something.

So, if you don't have any particular reason to frequent the forum other than owning an E90-93 and loving it, sound off!

I'm just curious how many disappear once they get their answer or shortly after their vehicle arrives ;-)

Hard to estimate I'd say, but there are many hardcores here. Which one are you going to be?

Well, I think most car enthusiasts visit forums pertaining to their car for a number of reasons. First, anybody will like someone who bought the same car as them so you're already in good company. Second, forums are useful in finding out more details about your car than you were aware of. It comes in especially handy when you want to do a mod on your car and there is a DIY thread that outlines exactly how to do it. Lastly, if something goes wrong with your car, the forum is a good place to get opinion and direction on what to do. At least those are my reasons. I'll probably frequent this forum quite often even after my car arrives.

I'm only in the forum to discuss why I'm in the forum

I'm a forum addict... for Porsche's, but I do visit here pretty regularly.

NASIOC OT is my home forum for the community aspect, but I visit bimmerforums and e90post regularly.

I am a general enthusiast and like BMW's a lot. I have owned several, and currently own a e9whatever sedan. I like these forums a lot, but I mostly spend time in the racing and OT sections.

I'm mildly addicted to this site...if I can't visit it for a day or two, I'm convinced that I've missed breaking BMW news. ;)

I don't post very often, but I visit most days. I have two BMWs, one of them an e36 that is not in bad shape, but could be better. I am slowly trying to fix it up and this is a great source of information for that. This is also a very reassuring place to come whenever I think I might be insane - it's nice to know that there are other people who obsess as much over BMWs and spend as much time and money on them as I do.

Well, I have been a member for years. It was originally as a regular user then as we started our company I continued on as a supporting vendor. We have been so busy since the launch of the Turbo Tuner that I don't get in here enough. I have really missed the intelligent talk over here as opposed to the rantings and childish behavior on some other forums. :)

I signed up here back in Nov 06 when I ordered my 335i Coupe. But I didn't frequent the forums much then except to look at the pictures of other peoples' cars! (Thank you everyone, for making your pictures available here!)

Now I'm back. I have the "stiff brake" problem and the local dealer won't just replace the check valve and/or brake booster. I've tried cajoling them tearful stories about, "but this is a BRAKE problem!", trying to guilt them into it. Ie. what's going to happen when the check valve fails catastrophically while I'm driving it and it comes out that they had the chance to replace it and didn't!? (Obviously, I'm hoping it doesn't really come to that.)

I plan to add the RSS feed to my feedreader so that I can keep my thumb on the pulse of this forum, but I haven't done that yet. And I'm really too busy to be spending much time here right now! In fact, I think I'm done with this post! ;)

I originally joined this forum to see what problems people have with their BMW's and to see if buying one would be right for me. I usually just read threads and hardly ever have anything to add. I might some day, though.

I've figured out I can afford to buy a BMW, but I'm not sure I can afford or want to afford keeping it in perfect condition. (Maybe the 128i - I'm trying to convince my wife.)

It must be the Ultimate Driving Experience. Own'd alot of nice cars over the years, but never a BMW. After researching, test drove a 335i in March 2007. Fell in love. As I waited for delivery, found bimmerforums an E90POSTs online informative. Every other car I owned, I drove off the lot and did not think of any other internet support. Good way to stay in touch.
